Aquasky - The breaks scene's biggest 'Teamplayers'

Label: Passenger Records| Release Date: 3/6/2006

In their 10 years spent producing together, Dave Wallace, Brent Newitt and Keiron Bailey have notched up seven artist albums and numerous singles. Their releases span labels such as seminal electronic imprints Moving Shadow and R&S through to major labels Polydor and underground breaks label Botchit and Scarper. Ten years on, what initially started as a collaboration, sees the guys pushing the envelope to the limit. Aquasky will also be embarking on a 'Teamplayers' tour, details of which can be found at their website - http://www.aquaksky.co.uk/

Following two solid 12”s that have completely changed the public’s preconceptions of this ground-breaking act pushing them to the forefront of the dance scene, Aquasky prepare to drop ‘Teamplayers’ a collaborative artist album involving some of the biggest players in their genre that celebrates their 10th Anniversary as one of the most exciting and forward thinking acts in dance music today.

In their 10 years spent producing together Dave Wallace, Brent Newitt and Keiron Bailey have notched up seven artist albums and numerous singles over labels such as seminal electronic imprints Moving Shadow and R&S through to major label Polydor and underground breaks label Botchit and Scarper, not to mention the countless others in between.

In their time the trio have worked with artists as wide ranging as the Scratch Perverts, Snowboy and The Ragga Twins as well as remixing the likes of 4 Hero, Art Of Noise, A Guy Called Gerald, The Freestylers and Masta Ace as well as notching up more air miles than Richard Branson on their continuous tour around the globe converting the masses to their unique sound.

Ten years on, what initially started as a collaboration on a single with The Autobots has since transpired into becoming one of the hottest and most anticipated albums certainly in breaks, if not the whole dance scene.

‘Teamplayers started out as an experiment that soon snowballed into a full on quest to achieve the biggest and most exciting breakbeat album possible. Being that it also celebrates our 10 years in the game this project is quite close to our hearts, there was only one label able to do justice to this huge experiment and that is our Passenger imprint’ – Brent Newitt (Aquasky)

Featuring a dream line up including the likes of Freq Nasty, Tayo, Meat Katie, Elhornet (Pendulum) Spyda, Phil Hartnell, Breakfastaz, DJ Icey, Ragga Twins, UK Apache, Earl 16, Diane Charlemagne and many more, ‘Teamplayers’ sees the guys push the envelope to the limit.
