Out Now on Proton Music

Proton music’s main label see’s a brand new release from Tim Corrin in his solo project as “Ditto”. This New Zealand producer and Dj is becoming a favourite having had some high profile releases on labels such as Vapour , Tulipa and Tony Thomas’ Cubism records to name just a few.

The original mix of “Don’t phase me” is a nervous affair with slightly jackin’ tech house beats to set the groove to begin and get our toes moving . As the music unfolds were treated to a mix of smooth pads and stabby sounds that synthetically intertwine tonally in an almost robotic , stripped back way yet remaining organic and body hugging . Gradually you get lost in the mood as it’s perfect flow caresses’ you into submission till its end . While on first listening the track felt slightly clinical but it’s message is crystal clear and the production is tight making it something a dj will have fun with .

It’s chocked full of murmuring , techy rhythms and one hell of an hypnotic groove urging us to listen further .With its feel good factor at +10 this is one of those beckoning tracks , the kind that call’s you to the dancefloor and won’t take no for an answer !

It’s another strong release from Proton music but it’s Fiord’s remix that really hit’s the spot. Their productions have a consistency to them that make them stand out from the crowd , instantly playable and sends a real message to every listener and on today’s overcrowded scene that’s what has been rapidly making them future star’s…
