Black Pearl "Barracuda / Rouge Noire"

Out Now on Four Twenty Recordings

Timo Maas's 420 Recordings imprint returns after a long spell of absence from the music scene, and kicks off again in fine style with a release from Timo's friend, co-writer and producer Martin Buttrich, who here teams up with German DJ Noire as Black Pearl, with the resulting tracks getting a proper rinsin at the 2003 Winter Music Conference, with approval coming from many, including P Diddy!!, who was strutting his stuff on the dancefloor.

'Barracuda' is all to blame, and as the radar-esque sounds sitting within the rising beat patterns gains prominence, so does the intensity of the track. As it loops and builds, a big techno riff is unleashed from it's cage, ready to send the dancefloor into uproar. You have bene warned.

'Rouge Noire' takes the techno edge further, way further! Starting off all deep, the percussion slowly forms to create the groove, but as the track builds a massive rolling techno bassline emerges from nowhere. Deep sub bass effects and evil effects only add to the depth and menace of this intense track that will dominate the dancefloor, but dont take my word for it, test it out for yourself.

It would appear Timo aims to share his big room tunes with us, showcasing some of the finest techno and breakbeats in his record box. With forthcoming releases from Hyper and Loco Dice expect more of the same, sooner tather than later.
