Casa Flava "Eterna / Homa"

Out Now on Plastic Fantastic

Hot off the heels of the AA single 'Mulgula/Digimo', Casa Flava turn out another brilliant tune for Plastic Fantastic. Oliver Berger and Stan Kolev are onto their 4th release for the label. This is by far their most advanced production. The sounds on 'Eterna' and 'Homa' are thick and chunky with just a slight hint of beauty. It's no wonder that 'Homa' was licensed to Hernan Cattaneo's 'Renaissance Masters' compilation.

'Eterna' starts in with a nice chunky set, and some tight lazer sounds hidden deep in the background. The drums create a hypnotic groove while the bassline rolls on underneath. A vocal snip falls inside the beats and becomes another part of the percussion. Spooky synth layers float along with the groove dropping in and out of fat breaks and heavy beats. The production on this tune is stellar.

'Homa' is a late night bass heavy tune. A huge bassline engulfs the tune while chuggy drums take us on building until a break. A watery synth lies on top off the bassline, teasing it and moving into another massive build. The bassline, synth and drums peak together and drop into a solid drum kick, gated tones and nice deep stab sounds.

The production that Casa Flava has reached on this new single is phenomenal. The tones, and the grooves, even down to the drums have grown so much from their early productions. This single is nothing short of brilliant, and another great release for the always-reliable Plastic Fantastic.
