Chris Micali "L'Evasion / Out There"

Out Now on Fade Records

Up and comer Chris Micali is about to let loose another original release, this time on Fade Records. With an original production out now on Blueprint Recordings and remixes on Tao and Bedrock, Micali quickly is becoming a dancefloor name. This Fade release also will get face time on Fortier’s latest mix CD, Audio Tour” alongside 11 other Fade releases.

“L'Evasion” is beautifully subtle. Micali keeps it deep and smooth throughout its 10 minute hypnotic journey and accents the track with almost hidden spoken vocals. Waves of subtle power roll in over the steady beat building the track in your sub consciousness. The peak is barely noticed, but it surely will be felt. “L’Evasion” has Digweed written all over it.

As if it rolls straight off of “L’Evasion,” “Out There” starts with echoed samples taunting “out there….” Hints of melody spatter the track but are tempered by an electrified bass line and punchy percussion. With “Out There,” Micali picks up the pace on this 12” and hammers home his signature tribal influenced progressive sound.

Following Micali’s “L’Evasion” & “Out There,” Fade continues to storm the floors with Micah feat. J Vede’s “Come From” and Motive’s “A.B.E.” As far as Chris is concerned, he has releases coming out on Swift Records, Cure Recordings and Vapour Recordings.
