It seems not a month goes by recently without at least one single being related to the Flash Brothers, with singles having appeared recently on Swift, Nascent and Distraekt. The trio of Ilan, Ruven and Shmuel have certainly been busy, and this latest release is something they done a little while ago, but is only now appearing. On one of Canada's hottest labels, you've guessed it, it's 'Release Time'

The Flash Brothers own 'Original Mix' is sublime yet straightforward progressive house track, deep rhythms, epic synths and a haunting melody really adding a twist to the groove. It's strings are enchanting whilst the beats have a hypnotic snake charmer effect to them. Coupled with the emotive middle-eastern vocal, this track has all the ingredients to get the dancefloor packed each time, and with a killer outro, just watch it do exactly that.

Canadian duo 'Benz & MD' have been on fire as of late, two of the best newcomers of recent months without a doubt. Their remix stays true to the hypnotic vibe of the original, but they add their own trademark melodic edge to the track, whilst sliding tight breakbeat style rhythms underneath the other sounds to create a more driving groove. As this one unfolds, watch the layered melodies take over with a massive bassline capable of some serious damage.

One of the best mixes packages on Release Records for some time, and a set of mixes that will work anywhere in a set. Diverse and useable singles like this are most welcome, and this deserves a spot right at the front of your record box.
