Hystereo "Let's Do It / Deale"

Out Now on Soma Records

Jack Byne and Conor Murphy's Hystereo outfit has been causing a bit of a stir lately, and to support the release of their forthcoming album Corporate Crimewave which was reviewed earlier, they have selected two standout tracks from the album to showcase in their full glory. Let's Do It and Deale both set up different moods, and these extended version make them a bit more DJ friendly than their album cuts.

Let's Do It is fused with electro punk guitar riffs and a sexy percussion outfit to compliment. Sub melodies generate a jackin' atmosphere, and this rockin' electro vibe certainly has massive dancefloor appeal. This dirty side of Hystereo is the side of them I have grown to love, and many more of this style can be seen on the album.

The other side of Hystereo is the funkier and housier side, which can be seen in Deale. Generating a huge groove and some peak time house action, when it is over one can only wish it lasted longer. The track is already being received well, and everyone whom I have spoken to regarding it has only had positive words to say.

I do however have one hang up about the release. The fact that these so called "Extended Versions" still only max around 5 minutes. I still get the feeling that these could have a much more full feel to them if they weren't as rushed and took their sweet time to showcase what they had to. How much play they will receive I cannot say, but if this is the sound you are after I can advise you to check out their magnificent album Corporate Crimewave, which features both of these beauties and many more.
