Innate "Imod"

Out Now on Baroque Limited

It's not often we see a single from Baroque kingpin Keith McDonnell these days, so each time a new Innate production appears, it always manages to pique my interest somewhat. Whilst's he had a single out under his own name a little while back, the last Innate release was back in 2005 when Baroque reached it's Half Century release, so needless to say when 'Imod' dropped into my lap I was more than a little curious to check it out.

The Original Mix is a superb tech-edged progressive track, oscillating sounds and a crazy bassline submerged right in the thick of it's many layers of synths and linear melodies. As the energy level slowly builds, the main lead takes us through a series of subtle drops, with a solid groove led finale to top things off!

German 'Jerome Isma-Ae' makes his debut on the Baroque brand with a superb remix, fusing elements of techno and house into a slick, rolling interpretation that builds and drops with chameleon effect, constantly shape shifting, with a big key section during the latter half that takes the energy of the mix to the next level.

One of the best Baroque Limited releases to date, and a welcome return for the man that is Innate.
