Nympho Soundz Vs Swain & Snell "A Day In The Life"

Out Now on Plastica

Swain and Snell need no introduction, as they are probably one of the most prolific production duos in music today, with countless releases, remixes, and label appearances to their credit. Obviously such widespread activity brings them into contact with various individuals, and New York's DJ Disciple is but one of those. 'A Day In The Life' is a result of a studio session between the two parties, and after some time being locked away in the vauts has now finally been released as the latest release on Covent Garden based Plastica Records.

The 'Swain and Snell Mix' is based around shaking percussion and layers of bouncing beats which form a funky house groove upon which electro elements and synths are laid, swilrling around the 'Nympho Soundz' vocal that bobs up and down throughout. Dirty bass adds an extra dimension to the track, but it's not particularly anything innovative from the duo

Dirty grooves are what we've become familar with from Swain and Snell, and this infectious dubcontinues that fashion. The main ingredient here is the big vibrating b-line that rises through the groove, adding a nice electonic vibe to the groove, with the dirty beats adding the perfect topping to this twisted reversion, which overshadows the a-side mix.

Plastica continue to push material from all over the globe, much like it's sister labels, but this hasnt evolved that much from the material Swain and Snell were producing months ago, and only the dub is worthy of a mention. If you are a fan of their sound you will enjoy this, but if not then you might be left with a sour taste in your mouth.
