Source of Gravity "Resonance"

Out Now on Gravitation Records

The Source of Gravity team are always pushing a futuristic sound. Having many releases under their belt with both of their labels, Source of Gravity and Gravitation, they know how to creates grooves, while keeping things techy. Their next release 'Resonance', here on Gravitation is just that; a futuristic vibe, with low key vocals and some techy influences.

The 'Original' starts off with a nice rolling percussion line. Claps rise in, along with some backward farty synth sounds. High hats create more momentum, admist a soft mimimal atmosphere. A shaker comes in, as we drift straight into some nice vocals. The vocals have a nice effect. You can hear them clearly, but they are sunk very well in the mix and layered perfectly with drums. The bassline moves and grooves, and pulls you down into it. Some synth stabs come in, and work well as little trickling high sounds float above and follow to the end. A very nice track indeed

'Lynx' takes this track a bit techier and darker, starting with good drums, and a arpeggiated rhythm that keeps everything going. Nice warbly sounds come up over the top. The melodies work very well in this track, whilst the vocals are a bit more twisted. They ooze into the mix, and with good use of delay. The bassline moves underneath and never takes a break, finishing off a great alternative mix in the process.

Source of Gravity have made another great track. Showing up already in many boxes and clubs, this is definately something you will be hearing in the near future.
