Stef Vrolijk & 16 Bit Lolitas "Rebounce Indicater"

Stef Vrolijk has been a key player in the Dutch dance scene for many years, and recently has joined forces with the exciting duo Peter Kriek and Ariaan Olieroock, otherwise known as the 16 Bit Lolitas, who have emerged out of nowhere in the past 12 months as not only a formidable production outfit, but live act as well. Having worked together on a number of projects, 'Rebounce Indicater' is the first collaboration to emerge on the well respected Alternative Route label

As you might expect, the 'Original Mix' is a deep, grooving percussive led number with a dynamic twist. It's subtle arrangements and bottom end sounds compliment each other well, with enough of an underlying groove to get any crowd moving.

'Kosmas Epsilon' meanwhile, turns in an absolute blinder of a mix, taking apart the original and reconstructing it into his own filtered and dirty epic. From the throbbing bass, through to the gliding stabs that send ripples through the layered soundscape of the mix, everything screams quality and as it rolls headlong towards an almighty peak in the late section of the track, the heavy rumbling is al you need to hear to know the effect this tough, floor crushing mix has on the dancefloor.

With a superb forward thinking mix from Kosmas Epsilon, Stef and the Lolitas have given Alternative Route another solid release that the label can be proud of, and having recently remixed Sander Kleinenberg's classic 'My Lexicon', you can bet that we'll be hearing from them again in the not too distant future.
