Stel Feat John Elliott "Finding Time"

There's no question that the past few months have been somewhat of a roller coaster for Greek producer Stelios Vassiloudis. As one of the leading figures of the movement out of Greece, he has made Audiotherapy somewhat of a spiritual home and already has several great singles under his belt, though none perhaps on a par with this latest offering, which sees him team up with Trafik's John Elliott.

The 'Original Vocal Mix' of 'Finding Time' builds on the original instrumental that was a standout track of Dave Seaman's 2004 Essential Mix, with John Elliott lending his unique voice to the track. Fusing with the subtle melodies and drifting groove of the instrumental, Elliott's inspired performance turns the track into a potential peak time anthem.

'Killahurtz' on the other hand dish up what is quite possibly the trump card of the whole package, stripping down the original and dropping the remaining elements over a massive throbbing bass hook, with a guitar lead dominating the mix. The vocal still remains but for the most part is somewhat understated, although the soaring builds serve their purpose and add some punch to this incredible mix that has already been a favourite on the dancefloor for many DJs including Seaman himself and Paul Oakenfold.

Audiotherapy are without a doubt one of the labels that are striving to push the envelope outside of the usual boundaries, and 'Finding Time' is one of the best examples of this fact, with a diverse range of mixes featured here (and on the accompanying remix 12") that all stand tall on their individual merit, and a further feather in the cap for Stel and Mr Elliott also.
