Artificial Intelligence "Blue Harvest"

Out Now on Coded

Artificial Intelligence is the collective work of one James Niche, head honco of the excellent Niche labels, and his production partner Clark Lipsham who also produces in a solo capactiy as CTRL. Together they deliver this first release for the Coded imprint, Blue Harvest

The Original Mix utilises some deep hard hitting percussion that increases with intensity as the track builds upwards, before soft pads really add some atmosphere to proceedings. There's not much of a single element that fires this forward, but with the way the track is arranged and the warm synths are integrated into the bassline you dont really notice as the funky feeling seeps through through out.

The remix comes the guys under their more tech influenced Tomorrow People alias. Stripping the track down and placing emphasis on the bassline, they introduce some quirky percussion and echoed synths, which generates a very acidic sound indeed. A rather large remix that compliments the original perfectly.

With Pako and Frederik's classic Western Approaches having been dusted off for release with new mixes shortly, it looks like Coded are back with a vengeance
