Katai "Turn Of Time"

It's been a very good year so far for Kasey Taylor's Oz supreme label 'Vapour', with massive releases from Bluephaze and Vance Musgrove.

'Turn Of Time' is the latest release on 'Vapour' and it comes from the unknown Katai. When asked about the artist's origin, Kasey Taylor refused to reveal any details about this new Oz talent, which leaves room to wonder if they're really that good or just a storm in a teacup...

'Turn Of Time' is solid driving progressive house with very nice percussive elements all over it and a nice humming female vocal through out. It should fit well in many DJ sets as a nice warm up track with its deep atmosphere and moody vibe.

But, to be honest, I wasn't left breathless on the floor gasping for air when I heard it. 'Turn Of Time' is a solid release but it's not a 'Fuck, what the hell did I just hear' kind of thing. This is Vapour's first Limited edition release. Maybe they should have saved the occasion for a different record...
