Liam Shachar "Feelings"

Out Now on Teknology Records

Liam Shachar has been experimenting with music making since he was 14. By the time he was 18, he had already played in Tel Aviv's finest clubs, and worked for one of Israel's leading record labels. And to top it all off, he also mixed a couple of radio shows for two big israeli radio stations.

But it wasn't until he moved to Miami that he managed to sign to a leading record label, George Acosta's Miami based label 'Grooveman Records', and a while later to 'Wellwicked Records' in London.

Liam's latest offering comes under Bill Hamel's Teknology label. This is his first offering for Teknology since setting up his own recording studio in Miami and it's an awesome display of his production skills. 'Feelings' is a subtle piece of cool Progressive house with a slight touch of groove. It's deep and tribalish with dark cuts and stabs all over. The flip side offers Liam's own tech-dub rework which takes a slightly different approach whilst staying in touch with the original.

You can always rely on Teknology to deliver the goods, and they do not disappoint here. Expect much more from this fine label in 2002.
