Maurice And Noble Feat Jane Hadley "Faith Delivers"

Out Now on Distinctive Records

Maurice, resident at Union in Leeds, and producer behind the haunting Feline, which many knew as "that track with the violin sample". Now having teamed up with Simon Noble of Mezz and Breeder fame, he now brings us the follow up featuring the vocals of Jane Hadley, entitled Faith Delivers.

Having already been featured on Gatecrasher Digital and enjoyed support from Dave Seaman, Tall Paul and Scott Bond, the single already has quite a following.

The Original Mix starts off with a deep rolling percussion that gives way to an array of snares, symbols and an eerie ethnic sounding vocal sample, stuttering the bassline into the lead up of the break, letting the main vocal take precendence as the bassline drives along in the background, gaining energy as the vocal key changes, dropping out of the break into a soft chorus, before introducing the full ethnic effects that have been teased throughout the track, dropping into a series of drums for the fade out. The dub mix is very similar in style, but perfect for building towards the peaktime or for use earlier in the set instead.

With future productions from this duo forthcoming, including a massive remix of T-Empo's Fouk, in addition to a collaboration with Blackwatch and Dave Gardner, it seems this newly formed production team will be at the forefront of our minds over the next few months
