Mike Monday "TFDT (TechnoFunkedupDiscoTing)"

Out Now on Whoop Records

Mike Monday's last single Can U Play Bass caught the attention of djs like Seb Fontaine. This time around he brings us TFDT in order to offer up something totally different for us.. are you ready for the TechnoFunkedupDiscoTing?

The Original Mix is a driving house workout, funky rolling licks, techno esque arrangements and a large dose major twisted layers really do the business here, and the vocal sample will have you lapping it up on the dancefloors. The House That Funk built.. You bet your ass...

The South Pacific Mix is on a deeper tip, keeping the same rolling techo licks, but adding in a whole heap of atmosphere behind the twisted bassline. A nice alternative mix for the darker moments in a set. without departing too far from the main idea.

Rounding off the package is The Dub That Mike Built, dubbed out beats and minimal use of the vox ensue here, but it adds a bit of variety to the package for those who want a more minimal approach.

A slight chance in style for Whoop!, but as you will see over the next few releases, diversity is something that very much applies to Whoop! these days.
