Minilogue "Pixelated"

Out Now on Vsual Recordings

Minilogue return once more, with yet another track for our listening pleasure. It would seem the workrate of these guys has no intention of letting up just yet, but let's not complain as every track so far has been quality. The question is, does Pixelated cotinue this trend?

The Original Mix follows in from their previous tracks 'In A Deeper Motion' and 'Deep Emotions', retaining a sound which has fast been pinned to this outfit. Fast paced percussion, soaring synth arrays and lots of heavenly synth arrangements are the order of the day once again as the track teases in each element slowly, with some rather spooky effects slipping through the gaps on occasion. as the track builds into a massive deep synth break before rising out of the depths as the oscillator goes off the scale and the synths shove everything else to the background and just losing control of itself. Trippy, hypnotic, and yet another winner. Is there no stopping these guys?

Australian trio Highland turn in a rare remix on the flip, stripping everything down into a less chaotic, minimal affair that slowly works its way along. A moody atmospheric remix that will suit warm up sets nicely, and a nice alternative mix to round off this package.

Vsual is only three releases into it's life, but already has offered some very material, and seeing as they are seemingly backing Minilogue, they can do far worse than to bet on this fast rising swedish team.
