MV "Hollow"

Out Now on SAW Recordings

Martin Villenuve is one of Canada’s fastest growing talents. His success can be partly measured by the signings he has managed with Addictive, Yoshitoshi, and with SAW Recordings to release ‘Hollow’. MV has a bright career ahead of himself and he is beginning to getting proper recognition as Danny Tenaglia dropped ‘Get Off’ during peak time in his set at the Winter Music Conference and has gained two slots on Deep Dish’s Global Underground 21 under his Envy alias. Gaining the attention of Deep Dish and Danny is no easy feat.

The Deviation mix of ‘Hollow’ starts minimally with a solid kick surrounded by a night cover of ambiance which is sure to please djs as it will practically mix itself into most tracks. Hollow sounds surround the beat as a dark unknown presence forces itself through the track. Dark jetliner blasts scream through the track in climatic fashion. The melody is minimal but adds to the darkness of this grumbler.

Accompanying the original mix is the tribally infused Tribal Fusion Remix. There are enough elements added to the fundamental version to transform it into a slightly different direction. Needless to say, the drums are much more tribal inspired. Both mixes will keep the same atmosphere swirling through a club though.

Satoshi Tomiie’s SAW Recordings continues to prove it is strong contender in the dance community with this release.
