N.D.S.A. "Or What! EP"

The New Disco Sound Alliance (or N.D.S.A. for short) may not be familar to you, but the you've probably heard of the duo, as Ticon who produce on the label Digital Structures. The 'Or What EP' marks their first release as N.D.S.A., but is the first of many, and the highly rated Inkfish have been recruited for the remix. Lets commence..

Cinematic sounds open up the 'Original Mix' subtly, before a driving bassline pushes us over a fluctuating percussion line that works the synths and hooks to the maximum as spacial fxs just breathe in the areas between all the other cascading sounds, like mouths of rivers all rolling into one ocean as we lead into the break and continues to hold it's own thereafter. Emotional.

'Inkfish' take a similar path on the build up, a warbling singular synth emerging as a drum percussion break kicks in and then the eerie hook giving it an additional edge that the original lacks, but both mixes are equally strong.

Expect another N.D.S.A. release in the first quarter of 03 and look out for the Vsual Breaks imprint set to make a bid for space in record boxes soon.
