Nowhere "Coma"

Out Now on Polyester Music

Danny Clark and Joss Armitage have already released material in the past on Plastic Fantastic and more recently on their own Synthetic imprint, but have licensed some further material out, and Polyester have wisely picked it up for release. Showcasing a combination of melody and rhythms, their music shys away from the dark output that's been knocking about in recent months, and Coma continues these ideals further.

Sinister effects give way to a kick drum and then the percussion line enters. So starts the Original Mix. Without abandon some tough bass twists the track off into a harder direction, cascading upwards until a dreamy organ-esque break washes over the soundscape and the track picks back up with a ton more atmosphere.

The Alternative mix is more sinister, deeper rework placing emphasis on the atmospherics and complimenting them with some acidic arrangements and a punchy snaredrum. Synths wash over the track almost in tandem with the bassline as everything fades out as the break lowers the mood and a small dose of funkiness is introduced as the track moves on. It's almost film score music in a way, but would be a great set opener or closer. Sublime.

Polyester continues to diversify further and further, signing many new and upcoming artists and taking them under their arms as new members of this Bristol based family. Watch out for more new signings very soon.
