Pat Foosheen "Sola Fide"

Out Now on Polyester Music

Pat Foosheen hails from the the city which appears to hold a hotbed of deep house talent over in the US, Chicago, so it should come as no surprise that Pat delivers a deep 'journey' in the form of Sola Fide, following on from releases previously on Chris Fortier's Fade Records and Sandy Fox's acclaimed US imprint, Inversus. Now he travels across the pond to make his debut on Bristol's Polyester imprint.

The Original Mix is a sublime cut, lots of deep synths and squelch fuelled bass give the track a deep yet groovy feel, fading in and out as an almost cinematic vocal aboud God and The Devil takes precedence, building up until an atmospheric sweep into the break as effects pan back and forth. A deep and eerie masterpiece.

The remix duties are given to the acclaimed Tigerhook Corp. who take the track and give it a dose of their excellent laid back production, cutting the track almost in half to deliver a simmering bass effected deep house rework that, with the help of Mark Pappas once again chalks up another notch on their ever increasing list of accolades, whilst producing a mix that will appeal to a wide variety of djs for use in a range of different style sets.
