Reflektive Feat Andrea Britton "Breathe Life"

Out Now on 3Beat Music Ltd

Reflektive's debut release, 'Echoes', made its mark back in 2001 thanks to a fine remix from Anthony Mein and Dave Wood, otherwise known as Origin. 'Breathe Life' is Reflektive's follow up single, and it's produced by Andy Chatterley, known as one half of Yum Yum who had majour success with their awesome 'Heavy Fluid' single in late 2001, and featuring the vocal talent of newcomer Andrea Britton.

'Breathe Life' comes as a two 12" package so there are loads or mixes to choose from.

The first vinyl includes the original mix. Backed by a descent vocal from Ms. Britton, the original mix is simplistic and minimal, but still manages to remain effective.

The Flip side offers a remix from SOG's Tobi Wirz, aka Greed, who takes the track up a notch and gives it a rather uplifting feel which is more suitable to Andrea's sweet vocal.

The second vinyl features remixes by Monza, who have had previous success with their remix to Angel's 'Kites'. Here they deliver two deep and energetic progrssive house reworks. The 205mph mix uses a quirky basslines and a clever intricate of the vocal whilst the Parabolica Dub strips away the vocal and goes deeper.

All and all this is not a bad release, but It's nothing special compared to 3beat's last few releases, and things will surely pick up with The Realm's 'This Is Not a Breakdown' and

Cube's 'Electronic' which are next on the release schedule.
