Don't Lie was released a while back on Hooj, but for various reasons went unnoticed by many due to Hooj making some identity changes at the time. Now Hooj have dusted off this Sharam Jey and Nick K collaboration... again

Sharam Jey's Nu Mix takes the track on a housier route, pulsating electro licks working in the background as well as a catchy melody hook craft this track into a groovy, hypnotic floor mover. As the vocal kicks in, you'll be hooked.. guaranteed.

Nick K reworks the track into something a little bit deeper, utilising some nice drum loops to push the track forward without raising the momentum too much. As the beats lock you into a groove, you'll find yourself tapping your foot to the licks being laid down here. A nice updated rework for this lost production.

Hooj seem intent on diversifying further and further with each release recently, and whether or not that is a good policy remains to be seen thus far, but whilst this re-release of sorts is good for those who missed the original mixes the first time around, I'm sure there is plenty of new material they could have put out instead. Let's not take away from this though. It does what it's intended to do and if you're a follower of Hooj you will snap this up regardless.
