Simon Noble Presents Redbak "Closing In"

Out Now on Sunkissed Records

Simon Noble turns out another tune for Sunkissed records. With major play from djs around the world, it’s about time to see something new from Simon. Closing in first showed up on Bill Hamel’s Balance cd, and has recently showed up in a select few’s dj charts. With warm pads, and electro sound, you can’t go wrong, and with remix duties by none other than the great Powerplant, we can only expect great things from this track.

The original opens up a bouncy electro mid, drops into a low bass tone, with spacey voices, and trippy sounds. The electro sound starts to move and groove, and turn and twist as a nice warm pad rushes in. It’s very full sounding, and the pads progress into the breakdown. The solid kick hits again; off a nice build that drops into some crazy electro birdie sounds. The chords keep on it, and there are loads of effects, and electronics. A very nice mix.

Powerplant take it a bit deeper, and start out with a slow sound, that builds into a nice chugging beat. The drums are delayed, and the voice is time stretched. Gaining momentum with layers of drums, and the rumble of the bass underneath. Sounds travel through one speaker and out the other. The pad sound starts to show in the mix, low, and in the background. A gated and bouncy synth line comes in, and we drop into the break. The voice takes us down, as he takes the song over. Back into the beats, and we follow the song out.
