The Aircrash Bureau "Dont Expect Me (To Forget You)"

Out Now on Vsual Recordings

Vsual is a little known label that has recently started up, and the mysterious Aircrash Bureau deliver the second release on the label entitled 'Dont Expect Me (To Forget You)', with a remix from Swedish boys Minilogue.

The Original starts off with a dark atmospheric build up which introduces us to a subtle pulsating bassline with analogue stabs softly flickering the background as synths pan back and forth underneath the vocal which edges in from the darkness. The arrangement of the track comes together with ease from here and crafts itself into a simmering tech house influenced cut that has you wondering where it's taking you the moment you leave the first vocal snippet. Sublime.

New faces to the scene, Minilogue rework the track on the bside, stripping it down to the bare minimum and reconstructing it with their trademark hard edged percussion, complemented by a rolling bassline and snare drum arrays which run along nicely in the background, utilising the vocal in such a way it contributes to the building of pace on the track before dropping out into a powerful finish. Peaktime material for sure.

This new label seems to have found a niche for providing tech inspired cuts that appeal to both the warmup and peaktime floors and with the support being provided from such fine up and coming talents one can only anticipate where this label will go to over the coming months based on these early releases.
